2 Nephi 30

I, Nephi, do not want my followers to think that they are any more righteous than the Gentiles that I’ve spoken of. Unless you obey the commandments of God, you are just as likely as they are, to perish. Any Gentiles or Jews who repent and accept Jesus Christ are as likely to be as saved as any of you who do likewise.

I predict that the book that I’ve spoken of will be delivered to the future Gentiles of this land who will be converted by its words, and then those words will be carried to the remnants of our descendants. Those remnant people of this new land will then learn how their ancestors came from Jerusalem, and that they are descended from the Jews. Like their ancestors they will also learn of Jesus Christ and be blessed. If they receive Jesus Christ, darkness will fall from their eyes, and after several generations pass they will again become white and beautiful people.

In the last days, the scattered Jews will also begin to believe in Jesus Christ and begin to gather. Like our descendants, those Jews who believe in Jesus Christ will become fair and beautiful people. At this time, God will begin his work among all nations and peoples to restore and reward his people. The people will be fairly judged and divided by God into those who are faithful and righteous, and those who are not. Those who oppress the poor and meek, and those who have failed him, will be destroyed.

After the judgment, the wolf and lamb will live together in peace and leopards will lie down with newborn goats. Lions and calves will lie side by side and baby children will lead them. No harm will come to any of God’s children because his knowledge will wash over them as water covers the sea. All things will be made known and no secrets will be withheld. Darkness will come into the light, seals will be broken, and Satan will have no power over the hearts of the people for long time to come.
