2 Nephi 19

Chapter 19 of the Second Book of Nephi is virtually indistinguishable, word for word, from Chapter 9 of Isaiah from the Old Testament.

Isaiah recounts the wars and ruinous condition of the lands between the Red Sea and Assyria, and predicts the coming of a Messiah whose reign of justice and peace will be everlasting. He criticizes, rages against, and warns those whose behavior strays from God’s will, promising punishment and devastation.
