2 Nephi 18

Chapter 18 of the Second Book of Nephi is virtually indistinguishable, word for word, from Chapter 8 of Isaiah from the Old Testament.

Isaiah predicts that because the people refuse God’s care, Assyria will invade Israel. He warns against consulting with sorcerers and those who would blame their misfortunes on God.
