King Mosiah gathered the people of Zarahemla and the people of Limhi and the people of Alma and he read to them the stories of Zeniff. He also read the stories of Alma and his brothers.
When Mosiah finished reading, his people were full of wonder and amazement. They did not know how to feel. When they saw those who had been made free, they were filled with great joy. But when they thought of their brothers who had been killed, they were filled with sadness.
When they thought of the immediate goodness of God and His power, they raised their voices and gave thanks to God. When they thought of the evil of the Lamanites, they were filled with pain and worry for their souls.
King Mosiah asked Alma to form churches in the land. Mosiah gave Alma power to ordain priests and teachers over every church. The Lord poured out his Spirit on them.
