Mormon 9

Now I speak to those who do not believe in Christ. When He visits you, will you believe in Him? The Lord will come in great power and glory and you will be brought to stand before Him. Will you then say there is no God?

Will you still deny Christ, the Lamb of God? Do you think you can live with Him in your guilt? Do you think you could be happy to live with holy God when your soul is feeling guilt about breaking His laws?

You would be more miserable living with a holy and just God with your guilt and shame than you would be living with the souls in hell. When you stand before God and Jesus Christ, it will start a fire of shame in you.

Now I speak to those who deny God’s revelations and say there are no more prophecies, or gifts, or healing, or speaking with tongues. Those who deny these things do not know the gospel of Christ. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He does not change. God has not stopped miracles.

Who can understand the amazing works of God? It was a miracle that heaven and earth and people were made by His word. Jesus Christ did many mighty miracles. Also, His apostles did many mighty miracles.

Why would God stop sending miracles? I say to you God does not change. If God stops miracles, it is only because people do not have enough faith.

Now I speak to those who believe in Christ. If you do not doubt, whatever you ask the Father in the name of Christ will be given to you. This promise is to everyone on the earth who believes in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said to His disciples: Go to the entire world and preach the gospel to every person. Those who believe and are baptized will be saved. Miracles will follow believers.

Who can stand against the works of the Lord? Who can deny His words? Who will rise up against the almighty power of the Lord? All who hate the works of the Lord will wonder and die.

So do not hate and do not wonder. Listen to the words of the Lord and ask the Father in the name of Jesus for whatever you need. Do not doubt. Come to the Lord with all your heart and work out your own salvation with fear and trembling before Him.

Be worthy when you get baptized. Be worthy when you take the sacrament of Christ. Do all things in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. If you do this and obey to the end, you will be saved.

I speak to you from the grave. We have written this book in letters that are like Egyptian. The Lord knows that no other people know our language. He will prepare a way for you to understand it.
