All his many years, Orihah ruled fairly. When he died, his son Kib ruled. Corihor, one of Kib’s sons, fought against his father and drew away many people after him to live in the land Nehor.
Corihor gathered an army and put his father, the king, in prison. So the words Moriancumer said were true that a king would lead to captivity.
Shule, another of Kib’s sons was angry with his brother. Shule made steel swords for the people who supported the king. They battled Corihor and won the kingdom back for his father. Before Kib died, he gave the kingdom to Shule. Shule was fair and good. He spread his kingdom across all the land.
Corihor repented. But Noah, one of Corihor’s sons, rebelled against his uncle, Shule, and against his father, Corihor. Noah drew away all his brothers and many of the people and started his own kingdom.
Noah battled Shule and took him captive. The sons of Shule sneaked into the house of Noah at night and killed him. They broke down the prison door and brought out their father. He ruled again in his kingdom.
During the rule of Shule, the Lord’s prophets went among the people and told them to repent from their sins. But the people hated and mocked the prophets.
Shule made a law to allow the prophets to go wherever they wanted. In this way, the people were encouraged to repent. The people repented and the Lord spared them and blessed them.
