Ether 13

Ether saw the days of Christ. Ether told the people about the House of Israel and the land of Jerusalem. He also told them of many wonderful things that would happen in this land [America].

The people treated his words like garbage and threw him out of the city. He hid himself in a cave during the day. At night he secretly watched what happened to the people.

There began to be an awful war. Many people rose up to destroy Coriantumr with secret, evil plans. Coriantumr also knew all the tricks of war.

He would not repent. There were no people on the whole land who would repent. Many people were killed. Even Coriantumr’s sons fought much and bled much.

The Lord told Ether: Tell Coriantumr that if he and his people repent, I will spare them. If they do not repent, all his people and family will be destroyed. He will be the last person alive to see the Lord’s word come true. Then he will die, too. Coriantumr and his people tried to kill Ether. He ran away and hid in a cave.

A war soon started and Coriantumr took his armies to fight the armies of Shared. They met in great anger and the battle became wild.

Coriantumr killed Shared with his sword. Shared’s sword cut Coriantumr’s upper leg so that he could not walk well for two years. During this time, all the people on the land were killing each other.
