[(Oh, and what he said worked.)] Here’s how the twelve—also known as church elders—ordained priests and teachers.

After praying, they rested their hands on the person to be ordained and said this:

On Jesus’ behalf I ordain you a priest [or teacher], to infuse beautiful changes into people’s conduct and experience. Their sins will peel off like the skin of a plum. Help them preserve all they can of this change till they die. Amen.
