Mosiah 28

After the sons of Mosiah did these things, they went to the land of Nephi to share the word of God with the Lamanites, for they could not bear any soul to suffer in sin and ignorance.

None of King Mosiah’s sons wanted to be king. So he took the plates of brass and all the things which he had kept and gave them to Alma the younger.
