Mormon 7

Now I speak to the remnant of this people [the Indians]: Do you know that you are of the House of Israel? Do you know that you must also repent? Do you know that you must lay down your weapons of war and delight no more in the shedding of blood?

Do you know that you must come to the knowledge of your fathers and believe in Jesus Christ? He is the Son of God. He has risen from the dead and gained victory over the grave. By the power of Jesus, we will be raised from the dead to stand before God’s judgment seat.

By the power of Jesus, we may have our sins washed away to stand before him at the judgment day. By the power of Jesus we can live with God in His kingdom to sing praises to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. We can live in happiness that has no end.

Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus. Grab on to Christ’s gospel, which is in this book and also in the other book [Bible], that will come from the Jews.

This book [Book of Mormon] is written to help you believe the other book [Bible]. If you believe that book [Bible], you will believe this book also.
