Moroni tells the people’s often repeated pattern: 1) First the people repent and are humble. 2) Next the Lord blesses and makes them rich. 3) They have pride. 4) They turn to sin. 5) Then trouble and wars humble the people. 6) Humility helps them repent and be blessed again.

The people repeat this pattern over and over again.
