The Lamanite army followed them to Zarahemla. There was an awful battle. Tens of thousands of Nephites were killed, but the Lamanites were driven out.

This was a time of great sadness among all the people of Nephi. The people’s cries for killed husbands and killed fathers and killed sons and killed brothers was heard by everyone. This was a sorrowful day, a time of much fasting and prayer. This ended the fifteenth year of the judges.
