3 Nephi 15

Whoever remembers my words and does them, I will raise up at the last day. I am the law and the light. Look to me and endure to the end. I will give eternal life to those who keep my commandments and endure to the end.

Jesus then spoke to his chosen twelve: You are my disciples and you are a light to this people. This is your land and the Father has given it to you. I have not told your brothers in Jerusalem about you or of the other tribes of Israel.

I did tell them that I have other sheep which are not of their flock. I told them that these sheep will also hear my voice. Because of their unbelief, they did not understand. So I was commanded by the Father to say no more to them about you.

You were separated from your brothers in Jerusalem because of their wickedness. Because of their sins, they do not know about you. You are my sheep and the Father has given you to me.
