2 Nephi 33

I, Nephi, cannot write all the things taught to my people. I am not mighty in writing, like I am in speaking. When a man speaks by the Holy Ghost, the power of the Holy Ghost carries it to your heart.

The words I write are of great worth, especially to my people. I pray for them by day. My eyes water my pillow for them at night, that the words I have written in weakness will be made strong to them and help them do good, to believe in Jesus and to hang on to the end.

My brothers and Jews and all the people of the earth, listen to these words and believe in Christ. If you believe in Christ, you will believe these words. They are Christ’s words, for He has given them to me. They teach all people to do right.

If you judge these are not his words, Christ will show you at the last day with power and great glory that they are His. I pray to the Father in the name of Christ that many of us, if not all, will be saved in His kingdom.

I speak to you like a voice from the dust. I say farewell to you until that great day.
