Now, I’m quoting myself, understand. I worked this all up for Isaiah before I said it to you. I pretty much did my best literary work with him. Great stuff. Needs a close reading. But his books repay the effort. Rich detail, imagery. Accurate about Israel globally, both its nature and its destiny.
But what am I talking about? Ultimately it’s my words that you need to write down. Because it’s these transcripts that the Gentiles need to spark their interest in you. Still, in another sense, the message has always been the same, no matter who said it. Turn back from one path, take another. And then get baptized. It’s all over the holy books you have.
After Jesus said all this, he added, “I have some other scriptures that you don’t. You need to write them too.” He called for Nephi and told him, “Bring me what you’ve got so far.” Nephi brought back stacks of plates. “Okay, so why haven’t you written that down?”
