Now, my brothers, Jacob continued, I have told you this story from the prophet Zenos because the favored olive tree in the vineyard is truly the family of Israel, and my prophecy to you is that this parable of Zenos will surely come to pass. In the latter days, God will again extend his hand to recover his people. Through the help of his servants, he will nourish and prune his vineyard. And after that, the day of final judgment will come. Those who have labored diligently in his vineyard will be blessed and saved, while those who refuse his call will be cursed and burned in the fire.
In his mercy, God remembers the roots and the branches that are the family of Israel, and extends his hands outward to reach for them. While the stubborn and difficult people turn away, those who don’t close their hearts will gain entry into the kingdom of God. Brothers, I beg of you to repent and come cleanly to God’s embrace. After having been nourished by God’s hand for so long, how can you possibly wish to become bad fruit to be cut down and thrown into the fire? Will you reject this warning? Will you reject all the prophets who have foreseen the coming of Jesus Christ, and mock the salvation that has been prepared for you? If you reject God’s plan, you need to know that you will stand in front of God in shame and guilt before being sent away to the lake of fire and sulfur, the place of eternal smoke and endless torment. Be wise and choose the straight and narrow path to eternal life. What more can I say?
