My son, Shiblon, there is a place where spirits live between death and resurrection. When a person dies, the spirit is taken home to God. The spirits of good people go to paradise, a place of happiness, a place of rest and a place of peace. They will rest from all their troubles, cares and sadness. The spirits of evil people go to a place of darkness, crying and grinding of teeth.

Good people stay in paradise; evil people stay in misery until the resurrection. Resurrection is when a person’s spirit is brought back into a perfectly healthy body. Not even one hair from your head will be lost.

After the body and spirit join again, good people live in the kingdom of God. Evil people are unclean and no unclean thing can live with God.
