3 Nephi 23

You ought to search these scriptures. I command you to study the words of Isaiah. He spoke about all the things that will happen to my people.

Jesus said to Nephi: Bring me the record you have kept. You have not written all the things you should have written. I commanded my servant Samuel the Lamanite to tell this people that on the day I rose from the dead many dead saints would come to life.

Then Nephi remembered this thing had not been written. Jesus commanded him to write it on the plates. And it is written.
